Rajesh T. Gandhi, MD, is Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and Director of HIV Clinical Services and Education at Massachusetts General Hospital. He is the site leader of the Massachusetts General Hospital AIDS Clinical Trials Site in the Harvard/Boston Medical Center/Miriam AIDS Clinical Trials Unit. He is also the Director of the Harvard University Center for AIDS Research (CFAR) Clinical Core. He is the editor of Partners ID Images, an educational infectious diseases website, and organizer of the HIV Online Provider Education (HOPE) program, which is an Internet-based educational conference series for physicians caring for HIV-infected patients in resource-limited settings. His research interests are in clinical trials of immune-based therapies for HIV and in HIV/viral hepatitis coinfection. He has written for NEJM Journal Watch Infectious Diseases since 2005 and has served as Deputy Editor since 2016.
