Rahul Koranne, MD, MBA, FACP, serves as the Chief Medical Officer of the Minnesota Hospital Association which strives to improve the health of communities across the state by collaborating with health systems throughout Minnesota. Rahul trained in internal medicine and holds a fellowship in Geriatrics from University of Minnesota. He graduated as a Carlson Scholar from the Carlson School Executive MBA program in 2008 and has been involved with the University through his involvement with Carlson and the Schools of Medicine and Nursing. Rahul teahes courses on the healthcare delivery system in the parttime and executive MBA programs at Carlson and launched a healthcare delivery MOOC course on Coursera in 2016.

Rahul''s interests are in leading transformation of the healthcare delivery system in order to preserve and improve the health of a population. He is very involved with the Office for Community Engagement for Health at the University of Minnesota Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) and he serves on many committees at the Minnesota Departments of Human Services and Health. Rahul serves on the Board of Wilder Foundation in St. Paul where he is the chair of the Investment Committee. He currently teaches the MILI 6992 course each fall and CMBA 5833 course each spring.
