Professor André’s research interests include leadership and sustainability, accountability in social enterprises and benefit corporations, and management pedagogy.
Industry & Academic Experience
Before joining the D''Amore-McKim School of Business faculty, Professor André held professional positions at MCA, Inc., IBM, and General Motors Corporation. She has been a visiting professor at the University of Ulster, Belfast, Northern Ireland; the University of Waikato, Hamilton, New Zealand; L’Ecole Supérieure du Commerce, Reims, France; and the Semester at Sea Voyage of the University of Pittsburg.
Services to the Profession
Professor André served as President of the Management and Organizational Behavior Teaching Society from 2010 to 2013. She has also served on the organization’s Board of Directors and chaired the Roethlisberger Committee and the Bradford Award Committee. She serves on the Review Boards of the Journal of Management Education and the Management Teaching Review.
