Rachel Volberg is one of the world's leading experts on the social and economic aspects of gambling and problem gambling.
As one of the world's leading experts on gambling and problem gambling, Rachel Volberg's expertise led to her being called on to join research teams in New Zealand, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the United States.
She is the first researchers to receive funding from the U.S. National Institutes of Health to study the prevalence of problem gambling in the general population.
