Biography

Rachael-Linn Spooner serves as the Vice President for Clinical Transformation at Northwell Health. In this role, Rachael uses her change management and integration skills to develop and spearhead implementation of clinical care delivery improvements across 23 hospitals and long-term care facilities. Rachael has built her expertise in defining strategy, developing new programs, optimizing organizational processes, and navigating diverse teams through fast-paced, changing business environments. She is also an Assistant Professor in the Department of Science Education at the Donald & Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell.

Rachael previously served as a healthcare consultant, focused on pre- and post-merger implementation strategy, care delivery model redesign, strategic readiness, and organizational design. She received her MBA from New York University Stern School of Business with concentrations in Strategy and Change Management and her BS in Biotechnology and Psychology from Virginia Polytechnic and State University. Rachael is passionate about improving the care paradigm across the healthcare value chain using science-based medicine, clinician partnerships, and operational processes.
