Prof. Pierre Kletz received his doctorate from HEC School of Management-Paris. He holds accreditation to supervise research (Habilitation a diriger des recherches) from the Sorbonne. He has held the position of Academic Director of the Eastern and Central Europe Centre of HEC. From an early age on he has held numerous leadership positions as volunteer in the Jewish community of France, such as President of the Young Leadership of the French United Jewish Appeal. Before joining the faculty of the Mandel Leadership Institute, he was an Associate Professor at the University Francois Rabelais (France) where he served as founding director of the Masters of Public Management program. Pierre has published numerous articles about organizational theory in major research journals. He has received the Award for Excellence in 2002 for an "outstanding contribution" to the Journal of Management Development and was on the " Emerald Reading List Assist" 2011, for an article published in 2009 in Management Decision . Kletz was Vice-President, of the Mandel Foundation- Israel from February 2009 till January 2014. He was the Head of Operational Processes at the Mandel Foundation- Israel from 2008 till 2010 and Director of the Mandel Graduate Unit from 2006 till 2011. Since January 2014, Pierre Kletz is a Professor at the Guilford Glazer Faculty of Business and Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He is the Director of the Social Leadership MBA Program that he founded in 2010.
