Wisconsin School of Business

Pete Lukszys is senior lecturer and director of applied projects for the Grainger Center for Supply Chain Management at the Wisconsin School of Business. Pete currently teaches several courses in the undergraduate and full-time MBA programs. Pete developed courses in logistics and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems that he teaches as part of the supply chain management curriculum. Pete is the SAP University Alliance faculty liaison and was instrumental in implementing SAP technology for educational use. He is a faculty associate in the Center for Integrated Agricultural Systems. He has received multiple teaching awards including the Mabel W. Chipman Outstanding Teaching Award from the School of Business, and was voted Marketing Professor of the Year by the Mu Kappa Tau student organization. Pete began teaching at the School of Business in 2004.

Pete brings deep industry experience to the classroom. He worked at Abbott Laboratories and EMD Chemicals, the North American affiliate of MERCK, KGaA where he held the positions of senior director supply chain management, director of global logistics, and SAP project leader. In his role as SAP project leader, he led the team responsible for implementing an SAP system across six US sites. At Abbott Laboratories, he completed a two-year management development program and held positions in inventory planning, plant supervision, and financial analysis. Pete has served as a supply chain consultant and expert witness, advising organizations in the agriculture, automotive, biotech, defense, healthcare, logistics, and wind energy industries.

Pete is APICS certified in production and inventory control. He received an MBA in supply chain management and a BS in industrial engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
