Peter Kimbowa

Peter Kimbowa is an Executive Coach, Internationally certified consultant, renowned speaker, business advisor. He is a Board member in ESKOM – the largest power generation and distribution company in Africa, Equity Bank Uganda, Baylor College of Medicine, Kampala Archdiocese Land Board and Council Member of the emerging second Catholic University – Ggaba University of Theology and Technology (GUTTS), and Chairman, Solace Ltd/Liberty Life – The pioneering funeral service insurance company. Peter is the Chairman of OMNICAPITAL – the largest investment club among Rotarians in East Africa. He is an advisor to the Ministry of Finance on Private Sector participation in Private Equity/ International debt markets. He is an advisor to Boards in the Public, Private and Civil Society Organizations. He has presented to over 50,000 people in more than Fifteen Countries over the last couple of years! Peter works with the region’s leading organizations to create places that amplify the performance of their people, teams and enterprises. He is a founding Director of the League of East African Directors (LEAD). He is a co-founder and Chairman of IFE – a leading Leadership & Management Development consulting firm based in Kampala. He is the founding member of the emerging ABACUS Business School affiliated to the Indian Institute of Management (IIMA) and University of Sunderland. Peter is the Team Leader at the CEO Summit Uganda– a private sector Think Tank which brings together all Tier 1 Corporate leaders in Uganda. Peter links the CEO Summit Uganda to global universities and one of Africa’s finest Business Schools – Strathmore Business School – Nairobi Kenya. Peter is an advisor – Strathmore University Business School – Uganda, a member of the American Management Association, a member of the Harvard Business Review (HBR) Club. He is an Associate of the Uganda National Academy of Sciences and the founding member of the Management Consultants of Uganda (AMCU). His company, IFE was awarded the International Arch of Europe for Quality and Excellence Gold Category in Paris (2009) He is a regular guest speaker at several Universities and business for an in Africa, Europe and North America on Leadership, Strategy, Sales, Personal and Business Success. Peter was awarded the Best Professional Man of the year by the British Council and Management Forum in 2005 / 2006. As part of his community service; he is a Rotarian, a Major Donor and Past Assistant Governor (2013/2014) in the Rotary District 9211 whose jurisdiction covers Uganda and Tanzania.
