Biography

He has been primarily employed at Aviation Strategies International, where he holds the position of Senior Practice Executive, specializing in Aviation Safety & Risk Management, for a number of years. In addition to this role, he has maintained a steady client base, providing services mainly in the construction, maintenance, and recruitment (placement) sectors within Australia.

His expertise has been put to use in various international airport management consultancy projects, where he has been actively involved in training development and delivery. Before the COVID-19 pandemic, he worked in several countries, including Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Myanmar, Thailand, India, Singapore, Bahrain, Bermuda, Macau, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the USA, Maldives, New Zealand, Romania, and Canada. In 2021, he also engaged in remote work with Uzbekistan Airports, in collaboration with the World Bank.

Prior to his current position, he served in a leadership role as the head of Airport Safety at Sydney Airport. Before that, he accumulated experience in both the financial sector and the Royal Australian Air Force, where he held a senior officer position.

Among his credentials, he holds the designation of International Airport Professional (IAP) and served as an Instructor on the ACI-ICAO Global Airport Management Professional Accreditation Program (AMPAP). Furthermore, he took on the responsibility of being the Lead Instructor for two ICAO TRAINAIR Plus courses, focusing on aerodrome certification and airport emergency planning.

He has actively contributed to the aviation industry, being a past member of the Airports Council International (ACI) World Safety & Technical Standards Committee. Recently, he co-authored a book titled 'Global Megatrends and Aviation – The Path to Future-wise Organizations'.
