Pedro Bare

Adjunct Professor of User Experience Design at University of St. Francis

Biography

I've been a designer for about 6 years now... It was a long journey to become a designer considering that for most of my life, I've always been obsessed with figuring out how things work and why they are made the way they are.

Being a native New Yorker (Brooklyn Stand Up!) has influenced my design approach in many ways. Aesthetically, I draw a lot of inspiration from New York Designers that came before me (Vignelli, Scher, Rand, etc...). Like my design heroes, I use emotive design and my NYC street smarts to craft experiences that not only look good but also allow people to get whatever task they need done.

Outside of work, I love movies and reading about history. I travel whenever I have the opportunity. One of my biggest dreams is to own a pizzeria.
