Biography
Alberta School of Business
Patrick has over 20 years of experience in the human resources profession and over fifteen years experience in facilitation, and the development and education of adults. In 2003 he founded S.P.L. Development Services Incorporated. He was educated at Dalhousie University and possesses a Bachelor of Commerce, a Masters of Public Administration, and a Bachelor's degree in Law. Patrick has been a human resources leader with organizations in the public, health, and service sectors. Over the last fifteen years he has been actively developing, presenting, and facilitating learning opportunities for working professionals in topics such as Organizational Behaviour, Human Resources Management, and Program Evaluation. Patrick has taught university courses at Dalhousie and Mount Saint Vincent in the Business and Continuing Education faculties, has taught courses online for Dalhousie University College of Continuing Education and the University of Alberta, and has also delivered courses as part of a Saint Mary's University Program in Nunavut. Patrick is an active member of several community boards and is a Past President of the Human Resources Association of Nova Scotia. He is also a Past Chair of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations.
