Ms. Patricia Samwick  is the principal of Samwick Management Group (SMG), a consulting firm specializing in marketing, fundraising and sales. She has spent more than 20 years working in Emerging Market Countries in Latin America, Asia, the Mid East and Eastern Europe.

The consulting engagements she has performed have covered a wide array of functions in a broad diversity of geographical locations including the Mid East, South East Asia, and Latin America. She has done extensive work in two major Islamic countries -Kuwait and Indonesia which included design and implementation of a new marketing and sales process for the major Islamic Bank in Kuwait and a large state owned bank in Indonesia. Her work in Latin America involved extensive consulting for various South American clients including the two largest banks in Colombia, an agricultural bank in El Salvador and a private bank in Venezuela. She has also reshaped and repositioned the donor base of a major global NGO, as well as developing a fundraising campaign for a public library.

Prior to forming her own consulting group, Ms. Samwick spent more than eighteen years with Citigroup. Her most recent position was Sales Director in the Global E Business Group. In that capacity she was responsible for sales to universities in Argentina, Brazil, Hungary, Czech Republic and Poland.

Currently Ms. Samwick is working on a book detailing the life of a female consultant in Kuwait. She has lectured at the American Management Association and headed an education board. She is an Assistant Adjunct Professor at NYU''s Center for Global Affairs and Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs.

Ms. Samwick holds a B.A. from Connecticut College and M.I.A. from Columbia University School of International Affairs with a specialization in International Finance. She also earned a certificate from NYU in Fundraising and Philanthropy.
