Oriane Kets de Vries

Alongside Oriane's management responsibilities as Managing Director at the Kets de Vries Institute at KDVI, Oriane is a certified coach providing individual and group coaching for executives both in an organisational context and on an individual basis. She is regularly involved in open enrolment and company specific programs for various Universities including the Cambridge Judge School of Business, Oxford Saïd Business School, ESCP, ESMT, INSEAD, and CEDEP.

She specialises in leadership development, high performance teams, organisational culture and change, entrepreneurship, and developing executive women. Her individual coaching work aims to determine authentic leadership styles, identify motivations and ambitions, assess strengths and weaknesses, manage career transitions, improve interpersonal awareness and communication skills, and manage change effectively.

Oriane’s previous professional experience spans 13 years in the creative, media and marketing industries. She worked as a creative director and a producer in the New York fashion and music industries, as an international marketing and product development manager at l’Oréal, and she founded and ran M.O. Creatives, a London-based design and advertising agency that provides bespoke, innovative brand consulting and creative solutions to clients such as Agnès b., The Body Shop, Shu Uemura and Vichy.

Oriane has an Executive M.A. in Coaching & Consulting for Change and an M.B.A. from INSEAD. She received a diploma for the Art and Practice of Leadership Development at the Harvard Kennedy School and, as a result of this course, co-founded Circle, a women’s leadership initiative. She is an MBTI certified coach and has experience working with a variety of feedback tools. She has a B.A. in Comparative Literature and Fine Arts from Columbia University and a Diploma of Fine Arts from the Nyckelvikskolan in Stockholm.
