Harris School of Public Policy

Nour Abdul-Razzak is a Research Associate at the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a Research Director at the University of Chicago Inclusive Economy Lab. She is an applied microeconomist with a focus on the economics of crime and inequality. Her current research projects explore the role of police discretion in measurements of crime, interventions that reduce criminal justice exposure and violence among youth, and the impact of free prison communication technology.

Prior to joining Harris and the Inclusive Economy Lab, she was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Chicago Crime Lab and Education Lab. She holds a Ph.D. in public policy from the University of Chicago Harris School of Public Policy and a B.S. in civil engineering and political science from MIT.
