Frankfurt School of Finance & Management

Since April 1, 2018, Professor Dr Nils Stieglitz is the President and Managing Director of Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

In 2012 he became a full Professor for Strategic Management at Frankfurt School. Three years later he became Head of the business school´s Management Department. In November 2017, he was appointed Vice President Corporate Development, at which time he also joined Frankfurt School’s Executive Board.

His primary research interests are strategic decision-making and organizational adaptation. His research was published in the leading academic journals such as Management Science, Organization Science, and Strategic Management Journal, among others.

His research and opinions have appeared in newspapers and other media outlets such as Business Week, Financial Times, Harvard Business Review, Neue Zuricher Zeitung, New York Times, The Economist, and Wall Street Journal. He serves on the editorial boards of Organization Science and Strategic Management Journal and is a Senior Editor at the Journal of Organization Design. Nils teaches strategy and organizational design.
