Prof. Nils L. Randrup is Lecturer at UCI and an authority on Marketing, Strategy, Operational Excellence, and Executive Education.

Prof. Randrup published his first business school textbook in 1995 on persuasive communication, and has since then been involved in best-practice research and publications of articles, text books and cases, the latest being the 2017 MBA textbook “Executive Decision Making: Best-Practice Methodology and Managerial Road Map for Strategic Problem Solving”. With 25 years of academic experience as teacher and Adjunct Professor at business schools like Emory, Georgia Tech, Kellogg, CBS, AVT Business School, he has taught Marketing, Strategy and Business Intelligence courses at Executive MBA programs with colleagues like Victor H. Vroom (Yale), Philip Kotler (Kellogg), Michael Porter (Harvard), Paul Tiffany (Haas), Louis B. Barnes (Harvard), Robert B. Briggs (SDSU) and Rajendra Srivastava (Emory). Prof. Randrup is currently involved in research projects relating to International Marketing, Executive Decision Making, and Collaboration Engineering. Many of his scientific contributions have focused on advancing best-practice knowledge through the cross-pollination of ideas and insights between the practice and study of business management.

Prof. Randrup has simultaneously pursued an academic as well as a commercial career in USA and Europe, and today also works as a Managing Partner/CEO and trusted C-level advisor for various organizations. He brings a special real world experience into the class room, based on many years of international management and management consulting experience from working for and with best-practice companies like Coca-Cola, Unilever, Nestlé, McDonalds, Shell, Siemens, Aston Group, Kraft, Deloitte, Rolex, Bain, FMC and AIG as well as marketing and communication consulting companies like J. Walter Thompson, MediaCom, Leo Burnett and WPP.
