Nigel Laughton is a sports leader currently mentoring elite athletes from a wide variety of sports. Nigel was formerly Performance Director of British Skeleton and Team Leader for Team GB at the Winter Olympics in Sochi. Since then, he has been Pentathlon GB’s CEO and been responsible for setting up England Cricket’s High-performance Centre at Loughborough and managing six England A tours. He was also Rugby Operations Director at Bath Rugby for three seasons. He was heavily involved, as Head of Cricket, for the early editions of the Indian Premier League and setting up the Champions League T20 and worked for the ICC in the sub-continent on the Cricket World Cup in 2011.

Prior to his career in sports administration, Nigel served for nine years in the 1st Battalion The Black Watch and as an army helicopter pilot. He was educated at Oxford University.
