Presentation

Nicolai J. Foss holds a part-time position at CBS as Professor of Strategy and Organization at the Department of Strategic Management and Globalization.
 
Foss has served as a member of the Senate of the CBS, is a panel member of the European Research Council, member of Academia Europaea, and a member of the Board of Directors of the Strategic Management Society. Educated as an economist from the Copenhagen University (1989), Foss has received his PhD degree from the Copenhagen Business School in 1993, where he has been Assistant, Associate and Full Professor.
 
Encompassing 170 journal articles, 100  book chapters and 23 books (edited as well as monographs), his work has been published in the Academy of Management Review, Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, and several other leading journals. He has published books with leading publishers, such as Cambridge University Press and Oxford University Press.His google scholar cites are above 18,000 and his SSCI cites are above 4,000. Foss has supervised 19 PhD students.
