Biography

Nick Sanders is the Program Director of the Masters in International Business (MIB) program at Grenoble Graduate Business and is a Participating Faculty with the Management, Technology and Strategy faculty of Grenoble Ecole de Management, teaching Operational Sciences, Research Methods, Management in Development and Humanitarian sectors and Health Economics. He is a graduate of the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, serving as an infantry officer with the British Army''s Brigade of Gurkhas. Upon retirement, he worked as a consultant for Private Sector mining and infrastructure organisations on multi-modal logistics and procurement projects in West and Central Africa and the Arabian Gulf. He was recruited by the UK Department for International Development as a consultant for the UN''s World Food Program, World Health Organisation and United Nations Joint Logistics Centre, specializing in emergency and conflict-area survey, supply and logistics and displaced population health projects. He also served 3 missions with MSF as a regional logistics manager and was the regional director in Sierra Leone and Liberia for hidden combatant disarmament and re-integration programs. Nick also holds a Masters in Public Health from University of Liverpool Faculty of Medicine and his interests and advocacy activities are weapons control, drug patent liberalization and preservation of architectural heritage.
