Nicholas Dobelbower

Dr. Nicholas C. Dobelbower is the director of Lockton’s global benefits practice, responsible for ensuring that Lockton addresses the needs of their multinational clients. In addition, he works directly with multinational clients to develop, implement and support international employee benefits strategies, including local employee benefits, business travel and expatriate programs, regional plan consolidation, and multinational pooling and captives. Dr. Dobelbower has a well-rounded professional background, having worked as an international consultant and researcher for benefits brokerage and consulting firms, as a consultant at the Organisation for International Cooperation and Development (Paris) and as a university professor. His professional experience includes client consulting, research, writing country profiles and compliance publications, and establishing and managing global partner and vendor relationships. Dr. Dobelbower has presented at numerous professional conferences on international benefits topics and written articles in leading industry publications. He studied in the United States and France, holding degrees from The George Washington University and Duke University as well as earning CEBS, GPHR and Dip.IEB certifications.
