Moshe A. Milevsky is a finance professor at the Schulich School of Business at York University in Toronto. He is also a member of the graduate faculty in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics and Managing Director of PiLECo.

He was also a research fellow at the Fields Institute for Research in the field of mathematical sciences and lectured at universities in the United States, Europe, South America and Asia. He has advised global pension funds and insurance companies and is currently a member of a number of corporate advisory boards.

Dr. Milevsky has published numerous books and more than 50 peer-reviewed articles on the topics of insurance, investments, pensions and annuities. His books include: Are you stocks or bonds? and Your Money Milestones: A Guide to making the 9 most important financial decisions in your life. Milevsky is currently working on his latest book, tentatively titled "Life Cycle Wealth and Risk Management: Strategic Financial Planning from the Cradle to the Grave".

Milevsky received two National Magazine Awards in 2003 and received the Graham and Dodd Scroll Award for a 2006 article in the journal "Financial Analysts". The Investment Consultant magazine included him in its "IA25" list of the most influential people in the field of financial consulting in May 2009. The Investment News magazine selected it as one of the "July 20, 2010".

Milevsky is an expert on the interaction between financial risk management and personal wealth management. In addition to being an award-winning teacher and writer, he works as a consultant for various financial services companies and pension funds.
