Mitch Max

Mitch Max is the founder of BetterVu, a specialized consulting firm based in Toronto and with clients across North America. His expertise is in financial and operational performance management - planning and forecasting, costing and profitability, operational improvement - with a focus in service industries including financial services, healthcare, technology and hospitality.

Mitch draws on over 30 years of experience both in consulting and management positions. Before launching BetterVu, he held a number of financial management positions in the banking industry, and led the Activity-Based Cost Management practice for the North American Financial Services industry as a Partner at Arthur Andersen.

A frequent author, blogger, speaker and workshop leader, he is a member of the Advisory Board for the Association of Finance Professionals and served as Director, Financial Services with the Beyond Budgeting Round Table. He has been a guest lecturer in the “Art of Spreadsheet Modelling” course at Rotman, focusing on the use of new cloud-based modelling tools. He is leading 'Operations Management Strategy' (RSM2406) in Spring 2019.

Mitch received his B. Comm. at the University of Toronto and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
