Mike serves as a Director at Adducci Vega Financial Group which is a full-service CPA firm offering tax, accounting and consulting services to individuals, small businesses and nonprofit organizations.

He is the former President and CEO of Mayslake Village, a Catholic sponsored low-income housing project for senior citizens with 620 apartments and 650 residents. Mike was responsible for the day-to-day operations of the facility.

Mike received his Master of Science degree, with Distinction, from DePaul University's School of Public Service. His field of study was nonprofit administration and he received the Phyllis M. Sutker Scholarship for his work in the field of low-income housing for senior citizens. Additionally, he received an award from the Michael and Diane Hora Charitable Foundation for his research paper, “Is There Enough Room in the Inn for the Baby Boomers?" which discusses ways to increase the supply of apartments for low-income senior citizens. Continuing to advocate for senior citizens, Mike testified before the House of Representatives Subcommittee on Housing and Community Opportunity in support of amending the HUD Section 202 Program to better meet the needs of today's low-income senior citizens. The amendment became law.

He is the Chairperson for the Board of Trustees of Christian Brothers Risk Pooling Trust which provides insurance for property, casualty, auto and workers' compensation for approximately 1,300 Catholic organizations throughout the United States. Additionally, he volunteers on the finance committee of a local high school.

Mike's experience in accounting and finance, his management of a nonprofit organization, and studying with SPS merges in the classroom in MPS 515: Nonprofit Financial Administration.
