Mike Fischer has studied Business Administration and Law focusing on International Management/ Trade, HR Management/ Organisational Behavior and Business Information Technology at Saarland University in Germany and Keio University in Tokyo, Japan. He holds postgraduate degrees - MBA and MSc - from OU Business School in England and currently pursues his doctorate degree in Business and Administration at the University of Jyväskylä in Finland. His research focuses on Global Entrepreneurship, Entrepreneurial Learning und Entrepreneurial Ecosystems. After many years of professional practice in the field of strategy consulting, leading projects for internationalisation and experience as an entrepreneur, he teaches the subject areas of Strategic Management, International Management, Leadership, Project Management, Corporate Finance, Business in China, Innovation and Networking as well as a co-lectured seminar in Learning, Creativity and Personal Development. Since 2006, he is an engaged lecturer at a number of Universities and Business Schools and leads the specialisation in International Business Administration and Trade at the HSBA Hamburg School of Business Administration. Since 2015, he is especially interested in student-centred learning and teaching, holds seminars for lecturers and instructors and is involved in projects for the improvement of study cultures and academic teaching as a consultant and trainer. Mr Fischer is Lecturer for Foundations of Management (Masters in Sports Business and Communication (SBC)) since 2011 and Certified Student Coach for the Bachelor programs at MBS since 2015.
