Miguel Rodrigues

I am a Director at the Gambling Regulation Authority where I work on the definition and development of the Portuguese online gambling regulation model. Currently, I lead the team responsible for the daily management of the IT regulation monitoring system for the Portuguese online gambling industry.

I am an Economics major and I have been working in the Tourism industry almost all my working life. I started my career at Coopers & Lybrand where I joined the business consulting practice. Next came ICEP (a Portuguese international investment agency) where I worked on international finance and investment for a while, before getting my MBA at NOVA School of Business and Economics.

Following that, I joined Turismo de Portugal, worked in most of its business functional areas, gravitating almost always to strong IT and project management roles, before joining my current post at Serviço de Regulação e Inspeção de Jogos.
