Opus College of Business

Experienced sports professional with background in collegiate athletics and professional sport franchises. Michelle is a trained Division III Game Day Ambassador by the NCAA in partnership with the Disney Institute. Appointed in January 2019, she currently serves as a member of the NCAA DIII's Management Council, Championships Committee, Subcommittee for Legislative Relief and the NCAA Olympic Sports Liaison Committee. In September 2017, she led negotiations, planning and execution of all game operations, fan experience, ticket sales, merchandise and marketing for the first ever football game held at Target Field, home of the Minnesota Twins. The game between St. Thomas and Saint John’s saw a record shattering crowd of 37,355 (previous DIII record 17,535). The record crowd outdrew 28 FBS games and 56 of 57 FCS games that took place the same weekend. Michelle has participated in various NCAA leadership tracks, including the NCAA Pathways Program, Effective Facilitation Institute, Game Day the DIII Way and the DIII SWA program. She has served on the DIII Women's Ice Hockey Committee and as a regional member of the Post Graduate Scholarship Committee. She currently serves as the Director of Events for the Chicago Blackhawk Alumni Association, in which she was in charge of game management and team logistics for the 2016 NHL Stadium Series at TCF Bank Stadium and the 2017 NHL Winter Classic at Busch Stadium. Morgan holds an Executive MBA and BA in Marketing from the University of St. Thomas, where she was a student athlete in women's ice hockey.
