Michelle Kanfer

Michelle spent 20 years working in the industry before joining Centennial College in 2018. She worked at start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in both traditional and digital media. While at Coca-Cola Canada, where she spent 10 years, she held roles in shopper marketing and brand management and later moved onto managing marketing departments both agency and client-side. Most recently, Michelle was the Director of Marketing at a prominent Canadian online marketplace where she led the internal marketing team, outside agencies, and vendors, co-ops, interns, and freelancers. After 20 years, it was time to do something different and explore her inner desire to teach. Today, Michelle teaches digital marketing across several colleges and runs her own e-commerce venture. She enjoys exploring new ideas with students and receives personal fulfillment in teaching and imparting everything she's learned along the way - a feeling that couldn't be achieved in any of her previous roles. She's grateful for the experience that students give her in the form of fresh thinking and creative energy.
