Biography

Henley Business School

Michelle is a Professional Certified Coach. Certified through the International Coaching Federation (ICF). She is a creative, inclusive, authentic coach with an open, curious and client centred mindset. Her focus is on helping people and organisations develop their performance and sense of self through reflection, focus and accountability-based action. Within her diverse portfolio of coaching and facilitation work, she has also developed hundreds of leaders as coaches.

Michelle became curious and passionate about the power of self-talk and performance over 20 years ago when she took part in the Round the World Yacht Race and saw up close the impact of individual contribution, teamwork, and communication during highly volatile and uncertain environments at sea. In the knowledge that everyone is different, Michelle provides a space for people to shape their agenda and explore what is meaningful and important to them. Providing a container for discovery, inspiration, ownership, and growth.

Following quarter of a century of business experience in both leadership and consultancy roles spanning operational management, leadership development including Executive development, employee engagement and wellbeing, global project management, change consultancy, talent partnering and key member and influencer in a FTSE100 internal global coaching faculty, Michelle now spends her time helping organisations and individuals meet their potential.

With a straightforward and flexible style, she is trusted to provide clients with a supportive, challenging, and safe space to learn and reflect and is known for co-creating an environment for them to think clearly and ambitiously about what they can achieve and commit to action. In addition to her HR background in Talent Management and Performance Management in fast paced, complex environments, she brings mindfulness practice, creativity, physical intelligence, and visualisation into her work, providing opportunity to be still, present and develop resilience and vitality through clarity and focus.

Michelle’s client portfolio spans financial services, retail, public services, higher education, and technology and continues to expand. Outside of coaching, Michelle volunteers as a mentor to 6th form students as they navigate their next steps toward employment or further education. She is a member of the International Coaching Federation and the Physical Intelligence Institute and contributes to coaching research projects.
