Michael H Peters, BSME, Rose Hulman Institute of Technology, Harvard Graduate School of Design, and Harvard Business School, Real Estate Management, is President and CEO of Architekton Resources and Illuminate WiFi, Washington, DC and Knoxville, TN, as well as co-instigator of a new endeavor, Emergent Development, based in Washington, DC.

He’s an Instructor for the Harvard Graduate School of Design, Executive Education, in Cambridge, MA and internationally.

Michael is also a partner for Brenz Pizza Company at the University of TN, Duke University, Ohio State University, UNC Chapel Hill, and others. He has helped build organizations in real estate development, in construction and demolition and recycling of construction waste and is on advisory boards in multiple industries, technology, manufacturing, construction, and retail, as well as communities, careers, forging the ideas for multiple patents in laser use, typesetting, photopolymers, anti-fraud chemical and mechanical security document features for Wall Street, American Express, and 50 Airlines, worldwide, software, job creation and education for underserved communities and the Presidential Intellectual Fitness (IF) Award credentialing construct discussed at the White House and Cabinet level, and technological innovations across disciplines and industries and Fortune 500 companies for over 25 years. Currently, he has helped birth both Development and Technology projects in Baltimore, Washington, DC, and elsewhere – initiating mixed use, multifamily, affordable, workforce, market rate, and historic redevelopment, RAD, LIHTC, and Design-based, Technology, Health, and Quality of Life centric without economic divide, New Urban Planning. He owns NIMBY.com, as well as NEMBY.com, technological collaboration, charrette, and presentation tools trademarked, patented as “New Enhancements for My Back Yard.” Patenting High Density Piezo Green Carpet, alternative energy technology, under development. Priorities always involve the duality of leveraging economic development and technology to create generational solutions for underserved communities, such as free community Gigabit WiFi (ArchResLLC.com/Gigabit ArchResLLC.com/VideoDC) propagated on platforms such as LED streetlights, cutting edge education, and job creation.
