Michael Keppel

Dr. Michael F. Keppel is an independent senior restructuring executive and has been working in the reorganization and restructuring business since 1992. He is founder and managing partner of Keppel Managementpartners GmbH, a company specializing in crisis management, and also managing partner at Cornelius Treuhand Holding GmbH, both located in Frankfurt. He has been Managing Director Restructuring at Douglas since 2020 and the Managing Director of Eisenmann SE since 2019.

He is currently Managing Director of Atlantik S.A., Luxembourg and sole shareholder of Pfleiderer AG, Neumarkt. Michael Keppel is a member of the Supervisory Board of Semper idem Underberg AG. Previously, he held various seats on supervisory and advisory boards, including Pfleiderer Grajewo S.A. and Kathrein SE. As Active Chairman and Co-Trustee, he was in charge of the restructuring of the Temmler Group until the end of 2012. Prior to this, he successfully carried out various restructuring and reorganization assignments, for example at PHOENIX Pharmahandel GmbH & Co KG, Ihr Platz GmbH & Co KG and SecurLog GmbH (ex HEROS) as Chief Restructuring Officer and Managing Director.

He was also Managing Director at AlixPartners, Düsseldorf, and before that, Managing Director and German Managing Director of Alvarez & Marsal in Frankfurt and London. Prior to that he worked for Droege & Comp and KPMG, among others. His main expertise is the implementation of reorganization and restructuring concepts in board positions in complex crisis situations, including insolvency. In this context he works with various banks, distressed funds and private equity companies.
