In summary – we democratise information (or attempt to) We have worked for the last four years (+150 000 interviews nationally + a host of satisfied clients) to develop alternative research methodologies that are more appropriate for developing countries. These methodologies also facilitate self-directed development by engaging the community from the information gathering phase right through to attracting attention from stakeholders with a vested interest in the commercial and social development of the communities under investigation We are currently rethinking the model to take the program beyond its pilot
