Biography

Professor at the Graduate School of Universidad del Pacífico and Researcher at the Research Center of the same university. He has a Licentiate (professional license) in History from Yale University and a Ph.D. in Human Development from the University of Chicago, focusing on cultural influences on economic decisions and organizational behavior. He has experience advising private and non-profit sector clients to help address social change and impact evaluations.

His research focuses on evidence-based ideas oriented towards tools of action that allow politicians, managers and social and commercial entrepreneurs to find appropriate solutions according to local and cultural contexts. He is a member of the International Society for New Institutional Economics, the Society for the Advancement of Socio-Economics, the American Sociological Association, and the Society for Economic Anthropology.

Previously, he served as Director of Research for the Advanced Leadership Initiative at Harvard University and as a Research Associate at Harvard Business School. Likewise, he worked as a management consultant in the design of digital solutions for the private and public sector in Barcelona-Spain, including projects financed by the European Union. He is currently working as a principal investigator for projects in the United States, Colombia and Peru.
