Biography

Martyn Andrews was a research worker and a PhD student at the LSE between 1977 and 1983, was then appointed as a Research Associate at the ESRC Macroeconomic Modelling Bureau, University of Warwick, for three years before joining the University in 1986. He is a Professor of Applied Econometrics. He is currently a member of the Royal Economic Society and the European Association of Labour Economists, and he is an Editor of the Manchester School. He was responsible for all postgraduate matters in the School of Social Sciences between 2010 and 2012, and is now spending more time doing research.
