Biography
Martin Geidl obtained a Master degree from Graz University of Technology and a PhD from ETH Zurich, both in Electrical Engineering. From 2007 to 2013 he worked for Swissgrid AG, the Swiss national transmission system operator. In 2014 Martin Geidl joined Swisscom Energy Solutions AG, where he is responsible for operation of a virtual energy storage consisting of flexible loads. Martin Geidl is a part-time lecturer at the University of Applied Sciences in Rapperswil, Switzerland.
