Biography

Mark Harbour is a senior vice president at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney. His professional role is senior integrated wealth manager to the high net worth and family office market segment. He draws upon more than 30 years of experience to serve as personal chief financial officer to individuals and families.

Prior to joining Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, Mr. Harbour spent five years with Northern Trust Bank as western regional director of Wealth Advisory Services, seven years with Ernst & Young, LLP, and eight years with Asset Management Group. Prior to that, as a CPA, he was a practicing tax professional.

Mr. Harbour is an active member of the Investment Management Consultants Association®, currently serving as national chair of the Private Wealth Management Committee. He is a member of the CFA Institute and CFA Society of Los Angeles, serving as treasurer and board member. He has taught subjects including investments, financial planning, and business law as an adjunct professor at UCLA Extension and the Oklahoma College for Liberal Arts.

Mr. Harbour earned an MBA from the University of Chicago and bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma.
