Biography

Mark Fletcher is an exceptional leader who has inspired engineering ideas and business related to water. His ‘Design for Water’ business and research strategy introduced the concept of integrated water management, incorporating blue and green infrastructure to complement and sometimes replace conventional water solutions in the public realm.

He is the leader of Arup’s Global Water Business, an Arup Fellow, and has established a reputation across the industry and with government for pragmatism and frontier thinking, in particular around the future of urban water and resilient cities.
