Mark Durand is an instructor at CSU in Business Management, Advanced Supply Chain, Strategy, and International Business. Over the previous 15 years, Mark has taught classes in the Executive MBA, MBA, and Undergraduate Business and Information Systems programs.

Mark has more than 30 years of experience working and developing business both in US and mostly international, including product launch campaigns, market intelligence/research, partner due diligence, complex operations and supply chains, optimization, sales management, and more. The past 15 years have been focused on strategic business development and business structures (joint ventures) as well as technology implementation and commercialization. Mark has extensive skills in establishing, growing and managing new ventures and operations, from field to regional to remote, as well as managing technology integration and commercialization for organizations small and large.

Having sourced and established both local and offshore manufacturing and vendor critical partner due-diligence, vetted/integrated JVs, and identified/initiated cross-border financing/transactions, Mark has wide-ranging experience in working through the nuances and complexities of borders and cultures to ensure objectives and success.

Mark has worked and lived in many countries, including North America, Western Europe, the Middle East, West / Sub-Saharan Africa, and Southeast Asia. He spent his undergraduate years at University of Colorado, Boulder (USA) cumulating with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering / Alternative Energy. He also has a MBA in International Business from Thunderbird (USA), and serves on various local non-profit Board’s.
