Biography

Mario is a research fellow in the Data Science Lab at the University of Warwick. He received his PhD in Physics at the University of Barcelona in 2016. His research has been highly multidisciplinary including several studies on Complex Systems, Behavioural Economics, Computational Archaeology and Data Science, that have been published in top-tier scientific journals. He is interested in understanding and modelling human behaviour and its impact on the social dynamics at the collective level, especially in cities.

He has also contributed with public outreach activities organizing behavioural experiments and seminars in non-academic environments and schools within the Citizen Science approach, as well as developing data visualizations for public administrations such as the Coventry City of Culture 2021 bid.
