Biography
DePaul University
Marika is an actress, teacher, and producer. She was raised trilingual and moved between Oregon, Germany, and France. After receiving her BA in English at Lewis and Clark College, she taught English for the French Ministry of Education in Paris. She then moved to Chicago and where she received her MFA in acting at DePaul University.
Acting credits include NCIS, Empire, Chicago Fire, The Chi, Easy on Netflix, and recurring roles on the Amazon series Patriot and the series Paper Girls. Theatre credits include The Goodman Theatre, A Red Orchid Theatre, Northlight, Rivendell, and American Blues. Her starring role in the feature film Knives and Skin, which premiered at the Berlin and Tribeca film festivals, was singled out as one of the "Top Ten Performances of Tribeca 2019" by Entertainment Tonight. She is a producer at 5by12 Films, a commercial and creative content company serving clients all over the country.
