Biography

Marianne van der Steen is Professor of Entrepreneurship in Healthcare and co-founder of REGMED XB, a cross border institute that translates RM technologies into commercial products and companies. Marianne is CEO of ReGEN Biomedical, revolutionizing RM tissue manufacturing through affordable large scale tissue production. Since 2006, she has been involved as CEO/MT and non-executive roles in life sciences start-ups in the Netherlands, US and Belgium. Member of (pre-seed) funds committees, venture partner of AI Capital and co-founder of the FIRST early-stage life sciences fund with BGV. Marianne teaches executive and MBA programs on entrepreneurship & innovation, with a focus on the life sciences industry.
