Zicklin School of Business
Elena Vidal is assistant professor of strategic management at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, City University of New York. She received her Ph.D. from Duke University in 2013. Her research interests focus on the antecedents and consequences of resource reconfiguration, particularly deletion of resources. She seeks to understand how firms can use divestitures to fulfill different resource reconfiguration strategies such as retrenchment and growth, and the economic consequences those decisions have on firms’ subsequent performance and actions.
