Margaret Weeks joined Darden''s Career Development Center in from 2004-2005, rejoined in 2007 and was promoted to her current role in 2014.
As assistant director of Career Education and Advising, Margaret guides development of the CDC''s Career Education programming and serves as lead faculty in the classroom. She acts as a career advisor for students interested in non-traditional, social impact and general management roles. Margaret serves as liaison to Darden''s Net Impact, Business & Public Policy, Media & Entertainment and Sports clubs, working to coordinate career development activities and company outreach.
Margaret received a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Wooster and a M.Ed. from the University of Virginia. She previously worked with non-profit organizations including The Alzheimer''s Association and in private educational settings. She currently sits on the board of Parents for Ethical Adoption Reform, a national adoption advocacy and education group.
