Mar Morosse

Adjunct Professor of Art History at Baruch College

Biography

Mar Morosse comes to the luxury real estate business after a career as a scholar and curator in the art world. She holds two PhDs, one in Architectural History from the Sorbonne, and the second in Art History from the Complutense University of Madrid. Mar has worked as a curator for the Louvre, Prado, and for the royal collection of HRH King Juan Carlos of Spain. She has taught at Universities in Madrid, London, Paris, Florence and Hamburg. Mar is a native of Madrid and speaks Spanish, Italian, French and German.

It was her particular passion for New York architecture that brought her to Sotheby's International Realty. Choosing Sotheby's International Realty was natural for her as she knew it well from working with private collectors. Mar continues to take her curatorial approach to her real estate business, digging deeply into Manhattan buildings to find the best old and new.

Mar has always brought a high standard of excellence, thoroughness and service to her work as a scholar, educator and curator, and she continues to do so in the world of Manhattan luxury real estate.
