IE Business School

Manuel Rincon is the Director of a non profit organization. As professional, he is result-oriented and extensively experienced in international project design, planning and management in complex multi-cultural settings.

Since 2001, committed to sustainable development, he has built expertise in socio-economic-environmental issues. He is currently responsible for Knowledge Management at the United Nations ESCAP and his international experience is based on three pillars:

  • Solid consulting experience in recognized consulting firms with clients and projects from private sector and public administration;
  • Strong knowledge and experience on development issues and international relations working for the 62 member countries of the Asia-Pacific region (UNESCAP) and the 13 member countries of Western Asia (UNESCWA); and
  • Academic credentials including MBA, PhD, publications and teaching experience.

His vision is to integrate meaningful organizations with excellence in management. His duty assignments encompass corporations, such us IBM International, consulting firms such us Accenture or Arthur Andersen Business Consulting, and innovative start ups such us Meta4 (today a leading firm on human and intellectual capital management solutions). He has also taught at Instituto de Empresa Graduate School of Business, Universidad Pontificia de Salamanca and Universidad Maria Cristina. Today, he is a permanent member of the United Nations Secretariat.
