Biography

Manuel holds a PhD in Communication and Digital Advertising from the Complutense University of Madrid and a degree in Business Administration from the University of Alcalá and Leeds Beckett University. He has an MBA from the IE Business School, PDG by INSEAD. He has also completed specialized training in Mobile Business by IE and in Integral Communication by INSEAD and Columbia University.

He began his professional career at Unilever to later join the Havas Media group, where he currently works. Since then he has been Director of Large Clients, Innovation and Business Development in the digital unit, Director of the office of Madrid, leading the integration of the offline and online unit and finally Global Digital Director. He has worked in 17 markets and has been part of the founding team of Forward, third network of media agencies of the Havas group, for the digital transformatio of Telefonica group.

He has been a Marketing professor at IE Business School since 2008 for several Specialized Programs, MBA, Senior Management and co-directs the Marketing Management Program.
