Biography

Maggie Qiuzhu Mei is an Assistant Professor in Innovation and Entrepreneurship at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. Maggie completed her Ph.D. at Copenhagen Business School with a thesis titled “LEARNING TO INNOVATE: The role of ambidexterity, standard and decision process”. Her broad research interests are innovation, entrepreneurship, appropriability and organizational learning. Her current works surround two topics: 1. How do firms foster innovation creation? 2. How do firms commercialize innovation? Maggie''s works has been presented at AOM conference, CCC conference, DRUID summer conference, EURAM conference and DRUID academy conference, among others. Maggie reviews for European Management Review, Academy of Management annual conference and EMAC conference, and is affiliated with AOM and DRUID - the Danish Research Unit on Industrial Dynamics. Prior to her Ph.D. studies, Maggie was a Manager and Research Associate at Centre for Marketing and Innovation at China Europe International Business School. At this job, she engaged with firms and developed series of case studies for understanding firms'' innovation practices in China.
