Presentation
I am an associate professor at the Department of Business and Politics at Copenhagen Business School. My research has been published in peer-reviewed journals including Comparative European Politics, Government and Opposition, European Political Science, European Political Science Review, Journal of Common Market Studies, Journal of European Public Policy, Policy Studies, Politica (Danish), Politik (Danish), Public Administration, Regional & Federal Studies and Økonomi & Politik (Danish). I have also published books with Routledge and edited three special issues in English and three in Danish. Theoretically, I apply institutional theory, negotiation theory, coordination theory, theories on policy processes including behavioral public policy. I have used a wide range of methods including comparative studies, case studies, mixed-methods studies, Bayesian statistics and exploratory statistics.
Before joining Copenhagen Business School, I have worked at Department of Social Sciences and Business at Roskilde University (2014-2017) and Department of Political Science at Copenhagen University (2012-2014). I hold a PhD and a Master degree in Social Science from the European University Institute and Master degrees from Department of Political Science at University of Copenhagen and Government department/European Institute at London School of Economics.
Primary research areas
My research focuses on:
1) coordination in core executives,
2) Brexit,
3) institutions and policy processes in the European Union with emphasis on market integration and Euroscepticism,
4) political systems with special interest in Denmark, Germany, United Kingdom, the United States, France, Italy and Poland
5) algorithmic and behavioral public policy including regulation.
