McCourt School of Public Policy

Lutz Sager is an Assistant Professor at the McCourt School of Public Policy. Before joining Georgetown University, he completed his PhD at the London School of Economics. Sager is interested in a range of topics in the fields of Environmental and Public Economics. In his current research, Sager aims to better understand the interplay between climate policy and economic inequality, with a particular focus on the distributional effects of carbon pricing. He also researches the energy choices of consumers and the costs of air pollution.
