Future London Academy

Luke Powell joined Pentagram as a partner in October 2015. He studied graphic design at Central Saint Martins, graduating with Honours in 1996. He started his career at London design studio, The Kitchen, working on identity and print projects. In 2005, he founded Hudson-Powell with his brother, Jody Hudson-Powell. As Hudson-Powell, their work encompassed brand identities, motion graphics, website design, creative technology, immersive experiences and art commissions.

Powell’s clients include Diesel, Coca-Cola, Nickelodeon, University of the Arts London, Hauser and Wirth, Uniqlo, Google and Canteen. During his time at Hudson-Powell, he also consulted at branding agency Wolff Olins helping them to develop dynamic identities for brands like Price Waterhouse Cooper, London 2012 Olympics and EE.

Powell’s work has been exhibited at the MoMa, at Colette in Paris, and at Dazed and Confused’s festival ‘Dazed Live’. He has created immersive experiences for the BBC and ‘And Festival’.
