Biography

TrustBuilder’s founder, President and lead instructor is Lori Anne Heckbert, BA, MA, LLB, MBA. Lori Anne has spent a career negotiating, most recently as a Senior Director at a Fortune 100 company, where she built and led a 42 person team responsible for $4.5B in annual addressable contract value and established a new Negotiations Center of Excellence. Previously she was senior legal counsel at Accenture, where she negotiated large complex international services contracts and outsourcing arrangements, after having risen to Partner at McCarthy Tetrault LLP, where she built a wide-ranging corporate commercial legal practice emphasizing technology companies and services over her nine years with the firm. A member of the bars of both Ontario and New York, Lori Anne obtained her MBA from the Schulich School of Business (York University) and the Kellogg School of Management, and her L.L.B. from the University of Victoria. Lori Anne worked as a management consultant prior to her legal career, engaged in complex intergovernmental negotiations. On top of the annual addressable contract value noted above, Lori Anne has direct, cumulative transaction experience well in excess of $10 billion in value.
